Wind deflector problems

Pat,

Where are you? We have been trying to contact you about a replacement wind deflector / wind shield for our 2000 37 ft. AVH. It cracked in the places where it is bolted on while we were out in 4 to 5's. I emailed Dan about the problem and he replied telling us to call you. We want to know replacement cost and what is involved in changing it out. We would like to replace this part prior to the boating season.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Happy Boating,
Randy and Tonya Simpson

Randy and Tonya,

You should be able to get to the screws for the "crash pad" by pulling the bands to the side with your finger and unscrewing the pad. Then you can remove the windscreen.

We custom cut and install for each boat in the factory. You will need to find a plastics/lexan company to fabricate a new one for you locally. It will be quicker and cheaper in the long run.

Enjoy the new year,
Pat.

Pat my problem is that my windscreen is gone so I have nothing to start with. What do you recommend?

I recomend you post some pics of the AT.:coolcowboy:

Go Go Gadget Arm

I saw that on my 25, looks like a PTA. thinking of zip tying a ratchet to a pipe or all-thread.

Keep in mind if you do not have a windshield and have the olderstyle flip up flaps, your cockpit cover may no longer fit once installed. Just something to keep in mind.
