Ok. So when do I get to buy one????
Hello?????
ECHO Echo echo...
I wish I did..:p
So Pat, back to the question at hand.....when will the new 33AVH be ready??:D
Sounds like the 33 will be finished when someone pays for it. AT isn't gonna finish on their nickle.
What do you mean Todd, whats the deal.
Jassman,
The first two buyers didn't come up with the cash or had a boat to sell. Pat put the project on hold, rather than finishing it. The priority shifted to the backlog of 37s. You gotta go for the best bang for your buck, right. However, you gotta think the 33AVH would be awesome right out of the box, giving you a backlog of 33 and 37s.:D |
Pat, call me tomorrow on the 33, I've got some TMP 750's, same motors that are in my boat that would fit nicely, thanks Jeff.
Todd-
I think you are a little misinformed I must say. The buyer did not back out, and the cash is in the bank with a cert. bank note pending completion of the boat. No bank is going to "pay for it" when it's not complete.....;) |
Thunder 32, that doesn't make any sense, doesnt it all works on a draw system, unless you know something different.
You pay a deposit, work gets started, you pay draw 1, more work gets done, and so on, its not the responsibility of the boat builder to fund the project before getting paid, thats the banks job.... Its like building a house, I collect 10% upfront, go through the permits, get slab up and poured, I then get 15%. Once framed in (black in stage we call it) windows, doors, etc, I get 25%. Sht-rock hung, outside1/2 done, another 20%, cabinets and trim finished, another 20%. all flooring down, 5%, and before move in and customer is 100% satisified remaining bal of 5%. Been the same practice for 17 years, BOTTOM LINE IS I don't use my money to build their home, thats the banks job. The bank needs to know whom they are dealing with. Jeff |
