What is the top end on 2008 25 mid cabin with 496 HO and how does it handle rough water?

Hello,
Here are some REAL GPS test #s for our 2003 25 Citation mcob
with stock 496 HO at 1200 ft above sea level on our local lake @ 85 degrees air temp, slight chop, moderate load (four people, 1/2 tank fuel, cooler, 3 batteries and stereo.) Not light by any stretch!

24 pitch Bravo One 4 blade:

64.9 mph gps @ 4800 rpm trimmed out
52.0 mph gps @ 4400 rpm
35.0 mph gps @3500 rpm
Great hole shot, fast to plane

26 pitch Bravo One 4 blade:

62.6 mph gps @ 4400 rpm trimmed out
50.2 mph gps @3600 rpm
30.0 mph gps @2800 rpm
Still very good hole shot, fast to plane

Now here are some #s from our recent trip up the Missouri River to Sioux City, Iowa on a 100 degree day FULLY LOADED
with 4 people ,85 gallons fuel, overnight luggage, 4 coolers,etc.

26 pitch Bravo One:

Top 59.8 mph GPS at 4200 rpm downstream 3mph current
Cruised @ 52 mph upstream @ 4000 rpm
and 45 mph @ 3600 rpm. Still planes quickly!
Averaged 2.6 mpg upstream for 93 miles.

I like the 24 prop for a average ramrod day on the lake the 26 pitch for river cruising as you can see the prop slip gains in the midrange cruise.

As for rough water, I would not call it a wave buster @ 22 degrees transom deadrise but I have seen other brands of similar size boats give up way before I do.I am crazy that way! i.e. 28-35 footers in the parking lot on a 3-4ft windy day in Kansas!
