American Offshore NSX

Looking for some input/opinions of an American Offshore 26' NSX cat I am interested in. Anyone know how these things hold up construction wise? How they handle? Resale value? Anyother coments would greatly be appreciated as well.

everyone i've talked with has always been very happy with there 2600's and NXS, most have held their value extremely well also. If you'd like I can quote you a price on a new boat...never know it may trip your trigger.

I have a 96 that I bought last year. Love the boat. Had computer problems but ripped the fuel injection off and went carbed on the 540 Chevy. Having fun with the boat now.

Don,
I would be interested in seeing a quote on a new AO NXS. Let's say with a 525 EFI and Gaffrig gauges. When are you going to bring your current demo boat out to Clinton Lake?

I know of one that was at LOTO that ran 120+ (122 i think)it is on the American Offshore site. Red with balck tear-off paint. It had a blown 588 by Splinter racing. There was also a 2600 there that went to Grand Lake, in OK that in a previous life had a Louis Boyd 1100 in it. It was a 115+ boat. It now has a blown Boyd 468 in it and was last owned by a guy named Dave Weatherson. Very stable and fast boat but I think 115 is where they hit the speed vs. dollar wall.

Jasson I have ridden in a few 2600's. Well I used to hang around at the shop at Grove when ED had the plant there.
The quality of the boats were top notch when Ed ran the show. If I was you I would buy a new one or a 94-97. Chromecat can point you in the right direction.
