Greetings. I purchased my 99 - 26NSX about a year ago. I could'nt be happier with the way it handles. Although I have gone through 3 lower units since purchase. It has a Stern Power BX series 1000 outdrive. I have recently learned the history behind this drive from the previous two owners. Apparently it has frequently fell apart. So, I am in the works of getting a hold of an Bravo XR drive that one of the previous owners has machined a special plate to allow it to bolt right onto the Stern Power Gimbal. Speaking with him he never once broke it. So, I see light at the end of the tunnel. Other than that, I absolutely love it!! Not a bad first boat, huh?

Hey Chris, its mike the old owner,sorry to hear the drive is causing problems. The boat still looks great. The motor still charging? I miss that boat alot but i got great one year old daughter. mike
