26 with arneson?

anybody try a 26 with asd6 ? if i decide to keep my 26 i want bigger power & no drive issues. i'm sure the boat would run good but what about trimming down in rough water?

This is the same boat as a Talon and I have several of these out there.

There is no issue with rough water. You will not have to trim it down for the rough water.

Basically, the propeller shaft is in the same general height as the Bravo is so if the Bravo propeller stays in the water the Arneson will also.

rik how does speed compare to bravo boats & any handling issues around the dock? the rough water
question was aimed at keeping the bow down in big swells.

There is a guy in DC that has a 25' Talon, David Kelly, with an Arneson.

I can give you his #

Docking is not a problem, people talk about things more than they know. If they could not dock they would be stuck out in the water forever and we know that is not the case.

You have full control and maneuverability.
