26ft. Prop Size

Hello AO owners- I recently got into boating. Last year mid- summer I bought a 02 26ft. In the fall spun a bearing. Oh well, to slow anyway. New engine is a blown 540 made 850Hp on dyno. Nothing to crazy just looking for a little more speed. My question is with a 1.36 ratio whats the the best prop size to run. (Need more info?)I was thinking maybe a 30 or 32. I'm sure someone has had this same set-up before. Thank You in advance.
Hopefully my 2nd season is a little cheaper! :ernaehrung004:

30 would be a good place to start. What rpm can you spin the motor too?

At 6400 it makes 849hp with 720ft lbs. torque running 5-1/2 lbs. of boost. Thanks

I don't like to spin mine over 6200rpm and I still run a 30p labbed B1 for everyday boating. I get a good topend number with good accel and roll over.

1.36 gear
