looking at 31
 

I am looking at a 97 31 with twin 500 hp carb motors. What kind of speed will i see out this boat. Also what size props should i run on it. This will be my first cat. I just hoping it run over 90 to start with. After i get comfortable with the boat upgrades will be coming. Any info on these boats will be nice. He has priced it to me an i cant pass it up for the money. He had blown motors in it making over 1000hp each he said it would run over 130 but was unsafe to drive that fast. So he bought a bigger cat for his motors.

you should see middle 90's with that set up...

Looks like Travis took his ad down. I called Rich Tomlinson recently about his 1997 boat that was on the Powerboat cover. It's still for sale(no I can't buy it or I would have). Awesome boat for the money give him a call.
