HP/speed question on a 31 AO
 

I am wondering what the speed difference would be if you went from 115 mph at 5200 with 690HP@5200 to 850 hp at 6000. Will 160 hp pick up 800 rpm with the same ratio/prop/weight setup? Using the prop slip calculator with the current slip etc it says 131 is this really feasible?

yep I got the issue. It is a pic of me putting it on the Pier 57 boat. (i hope he reads this) :)

Now reality is back where it should be; the cat is out in front of the V.

Looks like it runs good enough if i were you i would leave it alone...

Motors are at Sterlings now. Should be done in Jan. I will let you know when the trip is. Maybe we will hit Skater at the same time depending on the schedule.

Motors are still in Michigan. Maybe they will be picked up this week.

i was just out this last week but with the floatilla of logs and debris i couldnt make a full throttle run. so far 125.3 @ 5100 rpm's so im thinking im easily into the 30's:eek:
