Wich boat did you buy? I just bought one with the same setup,
I have a pair of stelling boxes. The boxes have lifted my X up to 1" above the bottom of my sponsons.

You will need more than 700's to go that fast depending on the year of your boat.

Let see some pic's......

Even with the bottom with no boxes is as good as it gets. With stock lowers i have not seen one be even with the bottom. Maybe some have different X's thought. Most people use a -2 lower to get very close to even with the bottom.

Agree. Perhaps built or in-service modified with the transom mount relocated. In any event, my calculations show when using a 12" set-back (IMCO neutral boxes) that you gain +1 inch. So, if Baja555 where to install neutral boxes and his -1inch shortie lowers, bada bing he is at 0 to the hull. Beyond that, get with a darn good prop professional (Brett at BBlades) and it's all with the prop set-up.

Adding boxes to your 31 AO is one of the best add-on's that you can do. Speed aside, the handling characteristics are well worth the cost.
