2600 Prop help

Hey guys, trying to determine which prop I should try next for my 2600. Its pretty mildly powered at around 500hp, but was still only able to see low 70s. Currently running a 26 bravo, which allowed me to turn the motor upwards of 5800. Dont really think I want to turn it that hard. After doing some reasearch I found that stock 454mpi's in these boats were netting the same speeds...gotta be something going on here! Read that a hydromotive 28 may be a good fit. Any suggestions?

with 1.36 gears should be runing 26 pitch 4 blade bravo 1 . with 1.5 gears should be running 28 pitch bravo one. speed should be low to mid 80s with 500 to 525 hp
