Beautiful boat, nicely equipped to boot. I wish my ex-wife didn't completely wipe me out or I would pay you the asking price. Good luck with the sale!

Do you have your eyes on something else Brian?

tssteph 06-01-2013 07:02 PM

Boat is sold. Great couple from Michigan bought it. Glad it went to a good home.

rob vanharten 06-01-2013 11:15 PM

Home safe Brian. Thank you again for all your help. I know you poured yourself into this boat, and I know it had to be hard to watch it pull down the drive way. If the rain holds off we are going to splash it tomorrow:)

Congratulations... Brian's set up is quite similar to mine. Nice to have another AO/Awesome in the area

Congratulations on the new boat, it looks like a great boat! Not to highjack the thread but what ins. company do you have for the cat?

rob vanharten 06-02-2013 08:23 AM

Thanks guys!! We are really excited about this boat. It truly is beautiful! It's a custom piece that is for sure. Randy were do you do most of your boating? My in laws have a place in Ludington right on the beach, but it always seems so rough out there..... We spend a lot of time on the Muskegon river.

Congrads on your new purchase. I second what Randy stated. Nice to have another cat in Michigan, but too bad it is not on our side of the mitten.

Cedar Springs...about 15min north of Grand Rapids

johnnyboatman 06-10-2013 10:08 PM

Thats a beautiful boat, hope you enjoy it.

rob vanharten 06-11-2013 08:17 AM

Yep we are just 15-20 minutes straight north of Grand Rapids. Spend most of our time on the Muskegon river, but also head over to Lake St Clair a couple times a year, and a little lake MI as well. Spent all day Saturday on it, and everything was excellent!! This thing is an attention getter for sure, and pulls hard too..........:)

125ish..... I have only had it to about 110. I am struggling with porpoise, and the boat does not feel very safe over 85. I am still learning to drive it/ were to trim it. But I am have not been able to dial it in yet. I have tried all different types of water, acceleration rates, and trim spots. And I can't get it to settle down. Any driving advice?

tssteph 09-10-2013 08:10 PM

I will call you tomorrow and see what we can figure out.
