Blew motor. Will this one work.
 
Spun a rod bearing and bent pushrods. Found a 454 stroked to a 496. Aluminum heads 112 degree lobe seperation. 575 hp/600tq forged internals. 4 bolt main. Will be run in fresh water only. I have a xr outdrive. Also what prop should I start with on ghis setup? Have a 29 x14.5 4 blade cleaver and a 25 x14.5 3 blade mirage. Thanks for your help. The motor is not marine but everything around it will be.

Do you know what the compression ratio is? Thats going to dtermine if you can buy gas on the water.

Might add its a 1997 ao 26' cat.
