Dont know any of the details yet....Jay was not there when I stopped by......It has fresh power in it, only dyno time.....by Native I believe.....and with a new interior and some TLC could be a nice boat.....

Could you get some more info for me or a number to contact about that boat? what price?

Re: Here is a good project boat for somebody....

Thats odd...There was a blue 47' built years ago as the tender to a huge 200ft mega-yacht. Had a really beautiful wood dash, and the same "caesar" thing instead of the injun.
I wonder if its the same boat. A shame if it is.

It was soaking wet when I was in her at American Offshore a while back. Surposed to have a new hull back in 1998. I heard it belonged to the guy that owns the 50 APACHE that stays at Tommys. Gotta love the long nose on a 47, KEMO's is the best. Steve

The Turkish race-boat guy ? I wish Timucin was still around, he would know.

I agree with you...Kemo is beyond any of the others.

Does anybody notice the raised edge on the hull side at the rear?

Nykamp 04-30-2005 04:32 PM

Re: Here is a good project boat for somebody....

Yep raised edge is on the 47 WAR PARTY also, seems to be or the last ones made. I don't remeber them on KEMOSABE or BROKEN ARROW. Steve

Re: Here is a good project boat for somebody....

That 47 was called Octavian and was in europe. The Indian is a Roman Emperor. The hull was replaced by mark mcmanus in 98, kept same deck.

This boat was at florida everglades (?) marina several years ago, has # 3's and a # 4 -center drive.

These are great boats, but lots of $ to maintain.

Wannabe

I inquired about this boat a year or so ago...I was told it was a 70ish mph boat, but worst of all, it had been dropped at one time onto concrete from a lift and was rehulled.....yes, this is the boat that was in Europe.....other than that...its a mystery...
