I got booted from Speedwake
 

I was just doing a little verbal fencing about the now defunct fake Delray Apache with my old buddy Steve1 and Cashbrain over at Speedwake. It seems you can't call the now defunct Delray Apache "fake" or a "joke" even when a Federal Court says they never owned the name. Jeff, I guess the owner of the site, booted me twice, for attacking the fake Delray Apache by calling them the "fake Apache". Its not my fault those guys at Speedwake can't understand simple legal procedings or documents.

Now I know why Speedwake has very little traffic compared to this one. VIVA OFFSHOREONLY.COM !

That being said, this is the only offshore site I am a member of now. I can't afford to be kicked off this one. So please let me know when I'm being obnoxious. I don't want the boot here !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Steve1 got booted a couple days ago. I've been over there some, it's ok.

This is same kind of vicious personal attack that got me banned from Speedwake. ApachePete, please review the forum rules before you possibly share my fate and are banned from this site. The shame of being banned from an offshore boating site is terrible.

I've read the thread over there, I'm not real impressed with the site, so I never registered. I'm on this site only....As for the other boat, it would be cool to see it finished...BUT, i agree with you on the name, it's been hashed over many times and people will always disagree. the courts made the decision...only reason someone should be banned is for personal attacks, disagree wholeheartedly but word it properly.

It never ceases to amaze me that Apache threads bring out the emotions. You would think there more hormones floating around than at a Girl Scout Camp. Carl, I dont know what your name was at Speedwake but I saw some nasty comments going on. And Steve Koss although obviously talented gets hot under the collar easily. JAY13 seems to be the coolest of the crowd.
I for one want to see what this 41 foot "boat" can do. It could be one of the first technological breakthrough for boats w/ steps. What new hulls are out there? Dragon? I have yet to see one run. Fountain, OK I don't like beaks either, but 171 mph is nothing to snear at (closed cockpit helps aerodynamics)

If the 41 foot "boat" will do 140 mph w/ 1250's with an open cockpit, what will a closed version with 1500's do?

The real question is what would a pleasure version w/ 600's do?
