A few Warpath ???S
 

I've been doing some reading and watching footage of the origional Warpath 41 Apache that Bobby and Ben drove. I know the motors were around 700 - 750 HP and built by Keith Eickert but what cubic inch were they? Blowers or mech FI, or carb??
Also I don't think they had #6 drives back then so what where they using #3, #4?

IIRC, back then they were restricted in Open class to normally aspirated, max 500 cid. The biggest drive available was the SSM III. Shortly afterwards came the Kiekhaefer drive that Mercury bought and now calls the 6.

WarPath raced with 500 ci injected motors and 3's. Kiekhaefer/#6 drives were first installed on a 41 Apache in late 88, the boat was delivered in Jan 89.
