LOL, Papache should write a peer reviewed paper on how transom angle affects hydrodynamic performance of the running surface on the bottom of a 41 Apache in relation to the mounting height of the tailpipes. It would be good reading. I tried to stay out of this one, but I couldn't take it anymore

I believe there were more than two made this way because my mold came from the Team Apache boat and is made this way if memory serves me correctly. Post some transom pics to show the difference.

PAPACHE do you have pic's & how much higher is the freeboard ? i would also like to know who's boat is lighter between the two, with the same H.P. between the years ,& who is faster ? i feel that if you both have the same running surface , you should be close to one and another . G. G .

The speed of a 41 is a function of weight, HP, drive type, and drive height. The year of the boat, transom angle and freeboard have nothing to do with it. The bottoms(running surface) on all 41's are the same.
