So are you saying that after 1984 Apache changed all the boats? How many were built before 1985? NK

I believe the transoms were different on the first couple of boats as well. The early 41's didn't have the outward angle just before it meets the deck.

LOL, Papache should write a peer reviewed paper on how transom angle affects hydrodynamic performance of the running surface on the bottom of a 41 Apache in relation to the mounting height of the tailpipes. It would be good reading. I tried to stay out of this one, but I couldn't take it anymore

I believe there were more than two made this way because my mold came from the Team Apache boat and is made this way if memory serves me correctly. Post some transom pics to show the difference.

The speed of a 41 is a function of weight, HP, drive type, and drive height. The year of the boat, transom angle and freeboard have nothing to do with it. The bottoms(running surface) on all 41's are the same.
