41 apache with lambo's
How well would a 41 with lambo's & #6's run? I heard the lambo's don't have much torque for a boat this heavy. I bet the cost of parts would be threw the roof & not to mention tough to find. Comments anyone? It's a mid 80's 41. :D

Re: 41 apache with lambo's
No - that's not the boat. The boat I am talking about is here in the US. Anyone remember a sutphen with Lambo's in Chicago- it was called NAS-T. I saw this boat on Lake Michigan -what a sound. :D Doesn't anyone know about these engines?

Re: 41 apache with lambo's
Bill still has NAS-T, and still has the lambos, but they are not in the boat, at this time.

Re: 41 apache with lambo's
Unless down time & $$$ aren't an issue (like if you have annother daily driver boat) I wouldn't be keen on it.. It would be one hell of a neat ride to own though.. In my opinion it would be better to find an Apache with more conventional big power in it... Just my 2 cents... :) Jamie

Re: 41 apache with lambo's
You'll need to memorize this phrase:
"Non posso convincere questi motori per funzionare" |
Re: 41 apache with lambo's
Parts are a little hard to come by. You would need to buy a couple of spare engines as well. There is a few people here in the states that know how to work on them. They make lots of power, both horsepower and torque. These are not a hopped-up version of the V12 that was in the cars. These engines were in the tractors and a few trucks. The NAS-T boat should have the engines back in the boat in the spring. Fuel injection is the way to go with these engines.
