Not sure what I am doing first. Plan is to pick up a single engine "hot rod" and then get a sport cruiser for the family. I have two kids. (1 and 4) They both love the boat but I need something with a bigger cockpit like a 280ss for them to play, etc.... Plus I'll have a nice "built" single engine to run around with.

I have spent a lot of time in and around this 28. I also was looking to buy one a while ago but decided to stick with what I have, but after looking at numerous 28's I can tell you this is one of the cleanest and nicest 28's out there!

Yes, it ran 75 the first day out with the new power. Thats without any prop testing.

Thanks guys, I can't believe I'm selling either. The things we do for our kids. My daughter loves the Apache and is pizzed I'm selling it but I think both of them will have more fun in a 280SS. Plus my 1 y/o son is like a bull in a china shop so he needs the room to run! That and lots of padding. :D

Dont sell..................... The reason our family is so close is we all enjoy the performance boats. If my parents bought a cruiser when i was young I definately would not be into boating. Id probably spend my weekends playing softball or something boring like that!

I think Danny D has gotten a little too comfortable in his Cig. He needs to go for more rides with me. :D
J-Bonz, I'm not getting out of performance boating, I'm just going back to a single engine 25' or so to blast around in and also getting a small cruiser for the family. We have a Mastercraft to ski behind, I'm getting the single 25' next week and all we need is a cruiser to chill on and use for tubing/wakeboarding etc... My 1 year old needs lots of room to run!
