Not to sound stupid but what is the deal with that trailer. Is it a shipping deal or something?

Pretty sure that photo was taken before it was shipped over. It's a Europe thing. You can't haul your own boat on normal trailers over there. Have to have them hauled by a semi basically.

The problem is that you gotta have a CDL to haul something this long and the US-trailers canīt get even licensed with modifications over here, even the Steel used in the trailers arenīt "good enough" to be roadworthy according to the legislators .. IMO... :bsflag:

Wow, that's very interesting.... Does width have to do with it at all either?

A Max Width of 255cm on all vehicles without a special conwoy...
One of the Reasons Don Aronow had his boats preferably at 8" width was that he could ship them in containers and trailer them even overhere..

And then thereīs the rule of getting around a corner where the inner side has to get over qa minmun circle while the outer corner on the combo canīt go over a 12.55 radius ( ca 41feet). Therefore US Trucks are far between here also. Has to do with the ancient cities streets and mountain roads.
