Torque- I don't know, but would venture 600 to 650 ft lbs. I saw a set in one of the US Customs Blue Thunders in 1987 at Cat Cay- apparently one of 2 that had them. When they started them the whole dock reverberated and resonated with these engines. The guy lamented the Customs service was getting rid of them and going to Fountains with OB's. Even with the V12's they said they topped out at 75 mph as I recall. This just proves the point T2x made in his cat thread- BT is one of the worst designed cats around Wannabe |
there are a pair of marine lambo's for sale on e-bay right now... I saw them yesterday.

Is it just me or are the price a little high also ? Engines needing rebuilds and headders are god knows how old so they are propably toast that leaves the crash boxes for 35G ??

[QUOTE=thisistank;2036890][QUOTE=Chris Sunkin;2031232] I think it was the Michelob Scarab 43.
Was that Don Johnson's old Scarab? That boat was here (in Ventura Ca) for many years. Guy that owns "The Spaghetti Factory" owned it and ran it out here all the time until it sold (went to Michigan I believe) a couple of years ago. Hey Mark, nasty does run them, but I don't know about how "Quite well"....There's been plenty of runs where he's had his own "issues" with the motors. Things sound bad though! Wasn't the boat you're speaking of the 46 that Gentry owned? I thought that went West, then to somewhere in Michigan. I remember a used car dealer havingi it on his website for a while. |
