P.S. How sewed the interior for the dash ? Are the Seats going to be redone also ? Thanks Cougarman |
Looking good Tom, First class remodel, like all of Mark's work. You'll love those motor, they sure are working well in WARHAWK.

Thanks Cougarman The project has moved along quickly because McManus had the time in his schedule and has kept it moving. I am local to his shop so I was available every day to review questions, listen to Mark's guidance, and make the decisions. As I near the completion of this project I cannot imagine having undertaken it without Mark McManus' help and guidance. I applaud those of you who are/were able to complete such an undertaking on your own. It has been great fun and I look forward to being able to do another one in the future. Tom |
WOW! What a cool project!
One question...what' the reason for the 'life line'/grab rails to be on the starboard side of the boat instead of the middle like normal?? |
From what I remember from the articles about the boat back in the day, Fred K wanted everything to be asymetrical.

Whether it was Mark's idea or Fred's, it creates a good deal of visual appeal.

What's the point of putting it on the side like that is my question?
Only thing I can think of, is most people dock on the starboard side. Gives ya something to grab hold of. And just running one side still gives that unique character. I like the looks of it running down the center of the deck on my cougar, but I'm going to miss the functionality that I had on my previous boat. Jon |
