Not sure on the new one, They'll build ya one but not sure if it's new tooling once one is finally ordered..........or if they just stretch one out. I believe the yellow one is stretched, I'd have to go back and read one of the old Apache threads that had the history on it. Cougarman |

Mark McManus had the 50ft hull mold, but not a 50ft deck mold, so the deck on that yellow 50ft boat was especially fabricated for the boat by Curt Chapman. I believe it's owned by a gentleman from Istanbul, Turkey....Timucin here on OSO knows him. Same guy also owned a 47' and a bunch of other boats including a wooden Cougar.
The boat has a portrait of the owners daughter on one side. Bobby Shanblatt custom built the dash and for its time it had some really cool bells and whistles... The boat is VERY heavy...

Don't know whats it in now, but it used to have really BIG Chief power, and if I remember correctly, speeds were in the low to mid 90's.
