Fuel tank sending unit question

On my 95 36' I have one fuel tank that is labled as being 192 gallons. It a appears my sending unit has taken the crapper. On the top of it is labled positive, negative and sender with a corresponding red, black and white whire attached. It measures 12" and it is the round tube type that appears to have a float up inside of it.

Does anyone have a clue where to find a new one of this type? None of the replacement sendors I have found have a spot for the third wire. Most of them are just one wire and a ground wire. The Guages are the original Gaffrigs (maybe it's a gaffrig sendor?).

This might be a totally dumb question and I apolgize if it is but I would really like to avoid running new wires if I don't have to. I would also like to avoid running out of gas. LOL

Thanks

Looks like this but has spot for pos. neg. and sendor rather than just neg and sendor as in the photo.

Anyone? Anyone?

Livorsi still has them. I have the same ones as you do in my AT. They talk about the 3 terminal sensors on the last page of the PDF catalog.

Looks like a Gaffrig sender to me. They are a pain to adjust when you first install them. You have to adjust when the tank is full and when it's empty.

Thanks Fellas!!

The part numer on the sender cross references to either a Gaffrig or Livorsi 0'-12" sender. The "old" catalogs I have shows a price of $66.

I believe you can also get them from Hardin Marine.

Thanks, I will be ordering one tomorrow. Fuel guage is one of those things you take for granted until you don't have one. Nothing like trying to guess how much fuel you have burnt.
