Who Ownes It? Where Is It? Is It For Sale? I Am Trying To Track It Down. Can Anyone Help? Thanks!!!

I loved that boat

I used to drive over to the Little Caesars Head quarters to see if the boat was there everyonce in a while Back in the day

Every once in a while it would be next to the building

i would sit and stare at it for 10 minutes and then drive away thinking they must think i am a nut case showing up every once in a while just to stare and leave

One of my all time favorite classics

RedDog382 11-15-2007 06:19 AM

Wasn't that the one that had a meeting with a train ...?

I heard it was distroyed also. Don't know if it's true!!

DirtyMoney 11-15-2007 05:07 PM

It was in an accident on the highway but always heard it was repaired but nobody ever said what boat it is today.

GOFSTCAT 11-15-2007 06:47 PM

our mac tool guy was on of the two who were driving it when it rolled off an onramp

Ryan Beckley 11-16-2007 09:46 AM

It was converted in to a twin stagger set up and painted white, ;ast I saw it.........ruined!

thisistank 11-16-2007 11:29 AM

Theres pictures of it on the apache pics thread. The pics show it after it came off the trailer and slid/rolled a few hundred feet. I believe it ended up on its deck. From what everyone said on that thread it was destroyed.

Ryan Beckley 11-16-2007 12:47 PM

It was fixed after it fell off the trailer and raced again. I was told it was the guys driving, trying to switch seats while driving that caused the accident.......

GOFSTCAT 11-16-2007 06:08 PM

yup thats what happend

They should be stripped, dipped in honey and staked to an anthill for F-ing that boat up like that.

Anybody hear how it ran with the Twin Staggered ?

There is the other Apache on the OSO board that looks to be completed in the same fashion,............Looking forward to hearing how it runs once dialed in.

Thanks
Jon

Wow, the ghost of Little Ceasars comes back when you least expect it....I've gotton 2 calls in 24 hours on this boat!! Yes, here are the facts. The boat was turned into a staggered boat and raced as "The Flyer" in the early 90's. In 1999 the 3-man race bolster and entire dash/bulkhead/gages/etc. was gutted from the boat and the owner removed many of the bulkheads in the bow with the thought of turning the boat into a pleasure boat. Due to personal reasons the boat was never completed and has sat dorment and neglected since. It is currently a bare hull, no rigging, still cut out for #6's...I believe the saddle tanks are still in the boat. She was painted all white from the days it was raced as "The Flyer". Due to the renewed interest I will attempt to contact the owner and find out the current status...I will post my findings. It would be great to see someone bring Little Ceasars back to her former glory!! Till then, any questions can be directed to me at:

I dunno...

It's not a thrashed out old race hull. That's a big, expensive job doing the interior and cockpit mods. I wonder if they cut the deck off to do the liner- probably would have had to. Call McManus and ask what a new bare 47 would run you. My guess would be about double that.

The Lynch Mob 45 is complete, ready to run and on a nice trailer for only 24K more than they are asking for the Little Caesars 47. A lot less expensive than buying that 47 and completing it. Believe me, I can tell you first hand what it costs to bring a big Apache back from the dead.

Sacred Ground 01-20-2008 10:36 PM

I agree-
"Lynch Mob"is the best deal out there

alpicon 06-18-2013 08:39 PM

Boatme dont feel bad, Ive been that way with several raceboats and I also worry the people are thinking the same way. However, that boat is very special indeed.
