its the boat from shogren marine... the name was warpath, its going to be changed though. i dont know much history on the boat but i would like to if anyone knows any?

Nykamp 01-17-2008 06:27 PM

It was here in southern west michigan in the early 1990's. Congrates, good luck with your 41 they are great boats. Competion Marine Center in the St. Louis MO area did some work to it also over the years. When I was at there shop years ago I think they where blueprinting the bottom.

Looking good Andy. What did you decide on for the paint job - or did I miss that thread? What are your plans for the upholstery? Are you going to keep the seats? If not I may be interested.

well this year i really didnt have enough time to paint the whole boat so i decided to just change the graphics and shave all the antennas and unused drain holes. i have searched far and wide for the best upholstery person and i think i have found him but hes have trouble locating the materials i want to use but i will be using the original seats, just changing the patterns. and back bench seat to a three person bucket style. i will attach a photo of the new graphics this year but im pretty sure im going to do a whole paint job next winter.

I like the graphics you picked out. I remember there was a 2001 24 cigarette that nortech did the upholstery for.

I agree with mark - a blank canvas and vinyl may be cheaper if you plan on repainting again next year. Although........... the graphics you picked out look pretty simple, so maybe not.

Viperfitness1 01-18-2008 04:05 PM

well i do agree that vinyl is probably cheaper but i just like the looks of paint better. im fortunate enough that my painter is very reasonable and takes a lot of pride in doing this boat, so im happy to spend a few extra dollars to make it the way i want it if thats what it takes. the picture is just a digital image i designed and the actual graphics will have better detail and color. im certainly no high roller but i dont like cutting corners on my boat and the graphics are simple enough that they would look better painted instead of stuck on. once the upholstery is done it will tie everything together, i have some badass ideas for the interior so im really excited about getting that done
