Ummmmm ..... Mr Nykamp ???? Is this the one you were telling me about ????

Is this the one that used to have the steps?

baywatch 01-17-2008 09:13 PM

very nice. I noticed there was a 1996 36' that just popped up in the classifieds as well.

This 04 really gives me some ideas of stuff that I could do to mine for updates. Any idea what that thing would have retailed for in 04? Has anyone fabricated a wind faring like the one on the 04?

I think so ?
Very Sharp looking ride !
Who did the patch-up job on the bottom ?

Nykamp 01-18-2008 06:14 AM

Thats the last one Jerry, it was stepped, I walked around her by TNT, and it look pretty nice. The one before it with the staggered stepped hull would be a nice boat to find, and put some big power and NXT's on.

Why would someone eliminate the steps on a step bottom boat? Did they not work? Cause handling issues? How would filling them in affect the balance of the boat?

Nykamp 01-18-2008 09:25 AM

I don't know about the steps, the only 2 they made with a single step work really well. The 1996 thats for sale is a nice boat, it was originally here in west michigan, and it is loaded with options. I looked at it before I bought my first one, I love the race faring, it making me miss my 36.

And just a guess, but this with 700's should run about 75 -76?
