It ran great, no speed #s yet, I still have alot of adjustments to do, I will have some GPS's #'s after the weekend.

I really dont have anything to compare it to except my Donzi's I owned. I think it ran well, I will know more on sunday, I did enjoy taking it to the gas station for the first time, I had my pic taken several times and felt like a rock star:ernaehrung004:

I wish I had your budget, I think it will have to sit for a year or two before I can save enough to repower. Here is some pics of my Apache on the water today, it ran graet except for the fact that it needs new oil cooler:eek:. just another new part:D, it did run 82 mph on the speedo before it got warm!!!!!!!

Thanks for the offer Vyper, but I can't really move the boat outside of the Texoma area. I may take you up on that next spring if my game plan doesn't work out. Apache Bill - boat looks great on the water. Let us know how you like it in the rough. Maybe I'll pick up on your thread when I clean up the bilge this winter. I figure while its sitting I might as well repaint or clean up the bilge and replace as much plumbing as I can. I'm actually looking forward to that. We've already got the two engines out and one off to the shop. |
