I didn't realize Gail painted the boat either.
The woman who painted our boat was Barbara something (no, not me LOL). I've seen her name on the boat but I can recall her last name.
John give Rob a call if you need any help too. He's pretty smart and Bobby gave him some pointers too!
Oh, vote NO and leave it alone. Too much good info in order to delete thread and it can get back on track...

Please call me fund. No need for formality.
The plan is to buy a couple of rebuilt 454s from Budget Engine Rebuilders in Cleveland for 1500 bucks a piece and give them the Cobra built engines as cores.
Just kidding. Figured that ought to raise a few eyebrows.
Step one: tear them down and see what happened and why.
Step two will be based on what is discovered during the autopsy.

Ya know Bill... I have looked at pics of the other 28s out there. No comparison. This hull hasn't seen nearly the hours in the water as some of these and doesn't have the telltale raggamuffin transom with grunge and growth all over all the fittings, K planes and drives, and no cheap spray jobs.
The transom literally shows as new.

I bought the boat from the original owner John, it only had 125-140 hours on the hull, You have the cleanest 28 out thier!!!! I am glad you like it.
