I think R Addiction might know the story behind Warpaint. I think he went for a swim that that day.

Pretty sure this was the boat that had what you call a misshap.....horsing around in the Hudson River one June afternoon almost 8-9 years ago?...... Right?

No horsing around just an accident. And yes it was in '99 at the NYC Poker Run

I didn't see it happen but the buzz at the awards party was something about running to fast in rough water or over a big wake and over trimmed..

Since you were on it, what's the real story?

Must have been a little scary!

Boat was doing fine, dropped into a huge hole and shot out the other side........thats all I remember was in a medically induced coma til wednesday.

Nope... but I was there for that one too (2004).... That was a number of years after the 28 incident and I do believe the guys in the 28 weren't a part of or during the poker run... River was very rough that year..boat overtrimmed...launch, trip, stuff, barrel roll...:hitfan:

We were in the Run. Left the awards to put the boat away and it happened. We were on a cruiser in 04 when the 36 incident happened.
