Both prices are pie in the sky.

On a good day, before the stock market tanked, they MIGHT go for 150 with brand new power and drives.

Today, dream on.

When I sold Allez Vite years ago, I ended up getting HALF of what the "experts" suggested I list it for. And it took 2 years to get that.

What's the point of ignoring the reality of today's market? Does anybody really think values of 20 year old boats will be higher in the future? That would be the only reason to hang on.

With the dollar strengthening, and overseas stocks even worse that ours, the days of Europeans snaping up bargains here are a thing of the past, I'm afraid. That applies to realestate as well.

Kidapache's gotta sell the boat to be able afford membership and have pics posting rights again ;) Can't post pics with no membership :(

His boat is all original, very light, and pretty much a perfect example of a classic 41'

That too bad, I too didn't need the extra stuff either, for $135K 3 months ago I would have owned it....

Now I'd have to sell the boat I bought, by then it would be gone and I'd be shopping all over again... I can't win:cool:

kidapache 10-07-2008 09:45 PM

I will trade it for a 47 apache with big motors
