47 Inxs with Little ceasers name?

In the apache pics thread I seen a 47 with the inxs paint job but it said little ceasars on the side.....was it little ceasars before it was inxs? or vice versa, and what are the speeds of a 47 with trip 1000,s will they break 100, or some performance numbers onthe exisiting 47's out there?

They are different boats to the best of my knowledge (if you are referring to the old Little C that ended up on the Highway that is). The old Ceasars boat was all white last I saw in a pic on speedwake. The INXS boat is obviously still for sale.

As far as speed: the Firewater 47' Has trip Stotler 1100's and I have heard that it is a 100mph boat. Medicine Man is also currently for sale and I think that Has triple 750's with speeds in the low to mid 80's. Not sure how much they can vary in weight but considering the different layups on the 47's out there I would bet the weight variance from one 47' to the next could be 3-5,000lbs.

Jesse, if you get a 47' my little 36' could be the tender...

It ran in Key West under the Little Ceasars name. I think Ed Cozzi explain once why this was. Here is a picture I took of it in KW.

If you get a 47' I will splurge for the Fuel. The fuel would definately be the least expensive part of owning/maintaining a 47' LOL....

amen to that, lol

There is a 47 here in GA I have seen on Lake Allatoona. Is that an ex race boat? Guys last name that owns it might be Kinner? Kenner? He has a 50' Jaguar as well.

I seem to remember seeing the INXS boat on a trailer sitting behind a business near Douglasville, GA around mid 2002.

UNCLEJOBIN 10-18-2008 04:16 PM

I think you are talking about Joe, he live on Allatonna, and is a great guy. The name of his boat is Negative Reaction.

SLINGSHOT 10-18-2008 04:32 PM

im pretty sure they were going for the championship and borrowed the boat

Jesse James 10-19-2008 12:07 AM

So who were the throttlemen for the boat?....... any truth to pale face (old tweet revenge) running 120 mph?

BattleCry 10-22-2008 11:07 PM

Paleface...120mph. I'm curious who made that statement?

Kinser's 47 was not a race boat and it will RUN! Jojo is fearless in that boat. It is a Century Club member.

Jesse James 10-28-2008 06:12 PM

so who throttled inxs? and what does kinser run for power?

BattleCry 10-28-2008 09:56 PM

triple 900 Zuls on no.6 wet sumps

Jesse James 10-30-2008 09:38 PM

trip 900's gets kinser to the century club? I would think that is great for a big boat......so still asking who throttled/set up inxs?

The one and only Tres Matin. It was owned by the brothers Rick & Ted Saberesse out of Ft. Lauderdale. From what I read they owned one cool resturant/bar called Sloop John B.............

Is that Tbnepmp's old boat?

I heard it was being rerrigged..

GOFSTCAT 11-05-2008 04:44 PM

dont think so this one was quick temperd

BattleCry 11-05-2008 07:33 PM

GOFSTCAT, I saw that boat this time last year at Steve's shop in Lauderdale. It was SICK! We tried to talk Kinser into bringing the 47 Apache to Key West this year, but, he didn't want to take it. So, we stayed home.

If I remember right, Tbonepmp's boat was the pleasure 47. Like purple and white. It was for sale without power.

what is the name of your shop? Sounds like nostalgia would be the only reason to go with 3?

GOFSTCAT 11-06-2008 05:40 PM

the shop was legacy custom marine twins are so much better !
battlecry is joe in the keys or no ?

MidOcean 11-23-2008 02:51 PM

Rick never owned any of the boats. Ted was the sole owner. I bought the 45' Fountain from him with the truck.. Sold it to Ooley and Blackburn in 2000 and they sold it a few years later to the nice people in Texas.

Ryan Beckley 12-01-2008 05:52 PM

John Gerhet originally built INXS raceboat and had it painted and named . Ted bought the 47' from him (not changing the name or paint), and then built the Fountains in the same motif. If you ask me none of them look as good as the original Apache did.

MidOcean 12-02-2008 12:23 PM

I agree with Ryan, especially the 47 Fountain... The paint was never right... The blends were too sharp.

The original "Little Ceasers" race boat is for sale in the classified adds. It has been dorment for over 11 years now.
The boat was converted to twins/# 6's and raced as the "Flyer", bulkheads have been removed in the bow, the race cockpit has been removed and the conversion to a pleasure boat cockpit with a 1/2 cabin was started but never finished. If you sand away the white paint, the original "pink" Little Ceaser's paint job lies underneath. I worked with the owner when he had a Fountain dealership in Lighthouse Point but haven't spoken to him in 3 years......It's a shame that someone hasn't brought this piece of Kramer history back to it's glory....

It would be nice if someone would bring her back to life. With the economy i think she will be sitting some more until the right buyer comes along with the idea to build the boat of his/her dreams. I wish i had the funds because if i did it would be on its way to McManus for a rebuild. I would name her "Pizza Pizza"

JT, the sad thing is the boat was intact (except modified to staggered twins and white paint job) with all the rigging, race cockpit, dash, saddle tanks, tabs, etc. etc. until about 1999. That's when the "Geni-ass" owner decided to hack it apart and turn it into a pleasure boat. Had the cockpit been left alone and just recovered, brought up to date with some new gages, etc., the only thing left to do was sand the white paint off and drop in a couple of Big Sterlings or Chiefs and the boat would run and be worth some $$$$.

It was truely one of the most badd azz Apache's ever built. I can remember getting beat up in my little Velocity running Biscayne Bay in the late 80's and the Ceaser boat came up from behind and passed me like I was standing still!!! The sound of the tripple blower motors howling was enough to scare the life out of anybody within earshot!!! Some day that boat will be back on the water...........and the Atlantic ocean will shudder again!!

Where's it at in the classifieds?

There were pics floating around somewhere of it painted all white in the wherehouse.

Here's some of it's glory days:cool:
