Kemosabe/INXS

are they the same deck and cockpit?

Nykamp 03-24-2009 04:10 PM

No, Kemo has the longest deck of all the 47's made, she ride's awsome.

Jesse James 03-24-2009 11:02 PM

so would cockpit get smaller or the engine comp? are the engines located in the same place on both boats?......Nykamp do you still own Allez Vite?

Nykamp 03-25-2009 03:55 PM

I believe the motors are in the same spot, but the cockpit is tighter. John's cockpit is about the same as my 41. Yes I still have ALLEZ VITE.

Jesse James 03-27-2009 12:51 AM

well I am starting to get my ducks back in a row....so if she ever gets to be to big for the garage please PM me and hopefully the timing will be right......

Nykamp 03-27-2009 06:05 AM

I built my shop to fit a 47, but I don't think I will ever go there. I will sell my 41 if your ready.

LEOPAJM 03-27-2009 08:55 AM

Jesse James 03-28-2009 05:00 PM

Thanks,

how close is the dash and interior to its configuration during race days?

this boat is what made me design the Jesse James AT cockpit...I wanted it that way new and everyone talked me out of it....then 3 years later I did it any way.....fell in love with this boat when it was owned by a guy named Jon, met them on a FPC event back in 98...he was keeping it at TNT then...

what does Allez Vite mean and what language

Most seem to say ( Go Fast / French )

If you use any online translator's and do french to english
it says ( Go Quickly )

Guess in the end it all means the same.

Bad A** Boat........Mr. Nykamp needs to get that thing put back together :drink: it's one of a kind!

Jon, do you know if the engines were ever finished/installed from Gellner??? (I know it is probably a sore subject). Allez Vite is one of my favorites too. :drink:

mrhorsepower1 03-29-2009 08:19 AM

The engines are top notch. If you have any questions about them please feel free to contact me (216) 398-8500. Steve put the BEST machining and components money to buy in them hands down!! I hope to see her go together!!
