there was only one made, the rds kid apache boat. some people were saying that megatoy is a 45, but in reality I think it is a 42 Comanche with triples, done later by Mr. McManus.

I can give you information regarding PTM Express aka Chunk Express aka Lucky Strike. It was owned by my father Phil Meshinsky and rigged by Bobby Moore. It was the sister ship of Ben Kramer’s 47 so you know it was built right. One race that comes back to mind is the World Finals in Key West where Phil passed ALL the four engines Cat’s (Gentry, Don Johnson to name a few) and finished 2nd to Eric’s Reality (I believe that was the name of the boat). Offshore racing back then was 150+ Miles with 13-18 boats in his class. PTM Express was one the best out there. Phil now owns a 41 Apache in NJ.
What speeds did that tripple 47 run when it was Lucky Strike?
