Apache Yacht

Hi all Apache fans. You may want to go check out the site of Apache2 at http://www.apache2yacht.com/ . Check out the history section, you may find some legacy that lead to a great yacht project. Also, if you want to have a great summer vacation in Europe, the yacht is on charter. Its a fast hull, capable of running up to 40Mph in pure luxury.

Awesome charter boat, The Don would be proud! :)

Where is her home port?

Apache1 01-01-2011 06:58 AM

She is cruising between Italy and France at the moment, her permanent mooring is in Italy in the port of Varazze at the Baglietto yard where she was built.

Comanche3Six 01-01-2011 10:29 AM

Omar, that yacht is gorgeous! Could use a new Apache Powerboat tender! (just a thought) LOL!

Apache1 01-01-2011 10:52 AM

LoL ED, I did ask for a quote from Apache but two 20footers cost the price of a 40 footer!

Comanche3Six 01-01-2011 03:56 PM

A couple of 20's!! Pricey I'm sure, but diamonds nonetheless. Perfectly complimenting a yacht of that caliber.

Ed you seem to always have great ideas that make people say 'I wish I had thought of that'. Well done! :)

I was on it when He was working on it as well. It sure turned out nice. I would expect nothing less from "The Chief".

JetJock 01-12-2011 09:12 PM

Looks like the price was lowered from $250,000 to $99,000.

I live on my 43 Portofino now, I love this boat TONS of room and she is/was way ahead of her time in style and comfort.

What is the story on this Portofino? Who is the guy who did all the work?

Does the wellcraft portifino have a solid fiberglass hull or is it cored?

I believe it is solid fiberglass.

The damn thing is overbuilt......the engine room is huge for an express cruiser and very wide beam.

The hull mold was from Bertram. No complaints so far with the boat. I love mine.

Check your PM's....

Wellcraft actually built a solid boat when they made the Portofino. I still think today its a lot of bang for the buck.

I tried, I just couldn't make it happen. Any suggestions? I tried enlarging them and they just get fuzzy.

I currently own the portofino Bobby restored. Great boat! He restored the boat for a close friend of mine who owned the boat since new, I bought it from my friend. Was repowered with 496HO inboards. Tons of room and very good in seas.

I wish I would have seen that helm shot before we redid ours!
We love our Fino. Great boat with lots of room. I am pretty sure we used the same flooring in our cabin as above.
