RAZZ 41 Whats the story

I have seen it for sale in the classifieds and I have read a few threads on this boat. Was it on ebay at one point and did it sell or does it still have the same owner. Also is it considered a light or heavy 41, and the add says it was formally Little Caesar's but I read that was a 47 and it was destroyed. Pretty much I need the down and dirty about this APACHE.

c_deezy 02-27-2011 10:56 AM

I thought I had read before where 'flight club' had bought it....

I was on the boat yesterday. It is at loto now sitting in the showroom of performance boat brokerage, for sale, and the price is way below what it is worth. Wish my dock wasn't full already. Boat looks Awsome, has 1000's in it with crash boxes.

baywatch 03-01-2011 06:59 PM

I'm going to look at it first thing Friday morning. Not sure what U are wanting to know. It is staggered 41' kevlar apache. Has freshened 1000s with crash boxes and big shaft 3's. Is middle of the pack weight wise (which I'd prefer over an ultra light one). Has 6 fuel tanks (four in bilge and two in front of dash/down low). Has the quarter cabin which is also cool imo. I'd guess she'll see mid 90's speed wise. The way she is Priced I'd say it won't B there long.

I got the boat on trade last year , the same owner had it for 20 years, It was taken care of with an open check book. I ran it down in Key West during the worlds. IT IS A WAVE CRUSHER. Mid 90's. I'm a cat guy, so I traded it towards Ballistic.

The boat needs a rerig in the engine compartment !!!!

LOOKS MESSI IN THERE, wires cut and all over, the #3a's need to be gone thru and some other work...but overall a very nice and solid boat !

soggy bottom 03-02-2011 09:00 AM

When it comes to trim tabs size does matter, what are they anyway?

Panther 03-02-2011 10:26 AM

Good stuff!

Plus, now there's a company making parts for the SSM III/V's so that's no longer an issue.

First off, that Apache is Awesome and I would love to see it painted back to the old race boat.

Second,

Congrats on getting Ballistic, that looked like a sick deal on one of my all-time favorite paint jobs!

We are planning on running razz Saturday unless the weather goes completely crappy, can't wait. Of course the water will be flat on loto so no fun there but still looking forward to it, I'll try to post pics if we take it out.

baywatch 03-03-2011 06:54 PM

I took a look at her tday and wasn't dissapointed. She is one purpose built bad a** mo. Fo. That boat isn't going to be fun at loto till memorial day weekend. If it isn't sold by then I went ahead and reserved myself a seat for a snotty water main channel blast in her.

Wild 03-03-2011 08:23 PM

looks bad arssssssssss, that would be fun on a sat afternoon at LOTO

Any pics to post?

Saw Razz a few times this weekend from our place at the 3.5mm of the Osage. Looked and sounded great. Saw it again on Monday evening hauling downstream with Speed Racer. Just curious what the fun factor was on Razz in Memorial Day Weekend water. I'm guessing off-the-charts. :coolcowboy:

I have saw Mathew Smith out running/enjoying her over memorial day weekend in some bumpy water. Definately a sweet piece. Nothing better than seeing a guy that is normally running Mti's and quick cats grinning from ear to ear in battlehorse like Razz @ 90mph. It is tough to beat an old school Apache when it comes to the fun meter!!!

Keytime 06-19-2011 11:02 PM

I'm gonna see if I can go 0 for 3 here. :lolhit:

Does anyone have a pic of it in its race paint years ago?

Hey, that's pretty cool. I looked real quick to see if I could find a pic of the 41' in Caesars paint but all of my searches would pull up the 47'.
