It looks great in the pics. It would be good if you posted some engine and cabin pics in the ad as well. If I was in the market for a 36, it would be tough choice between yours and the 687 boat.

I may be bais but I have not seen a 36 that I feel has a better interior than mine. I'll change that too I probably am bias. LOL

I have to chuckle everytime I hear comparsions to boats that were repos which sold for 50k less. It's comical. Sometimes these repos need complete guts and re-rigs. Yes someone techinical with an extra 500 hours in free time could buy the repo and build it, they may end up with less in it. But this one is done.... It's hop in turn the keys and go.

For someone on a budget they are wiser to buy the repo and do the work. For someone who wants to hop in and go they are wiser to buy a turn key boat. To each his own. It is a shame how those numbers affect ones perception of the market.

Personally I don't have time for a project right now. So my next boat will be turn key. 10 years ago I would be looking for a bargain repo.

I love your interior and will actually use what u did as a template of sorts when I do mine next winter. You are 100pct about project vs turn key.I would also love to go the asd route but it is like throwing $ into the wind because u will never get it back when u sell. Once again, best of luck u have a great boat.

Thanks Griff, I will be adding some I didn't have any handy when I created the site and the ad. I should have them added later tonight.

I like the upholstered dash. I may end up doing the same thing with my 28.

I the little updates like the glove box and the cup holder cut-outs. It's also nice having a lonseal floor vs. the carpet.

Bobby send me info on your boat when it was for sale in 04/05' timeframe. I can't remember but does your boat have an enclosed head?

ASD would be nice. It's one of those things, if we have to worry about how much it cost we can't afford it. LOL

One way to look at it is you will never have to replace a drive from failure. You can pay up front for reliability or you can pay later in drive rebuilds.

If you keep you boat for 20 years lets say you break or repair one drive every two years (very conservative). That's 10 drive rebuilds over 20 years. 3k per drive rebuild is also conservative 4 or 5k is more like it to rebuild a bravo XR properly.

So that's from 30k to 50k in rebuilds over the next 20 years. If you are running bigger power and trying to go faster you will break at least one a year. So the ROI is even quicker. Likely could break even in 7 to 10 years.

I've gone over this in my head dozens of times. If I was able to boat more often and truly enjoy my boat I might of pulled the trigger and went ASD's. But as little as I use it I couldn't justify it.

The enclosed head is very rare!!

The headroom in the cabin is what sold me on the 36'. I wish I had the enclosed head though. There's lot's of room for the family, much more than even a 41'.
