JO - PANTERABOATS 09-26-2011 02:22 PM

I have personally ran this boat out in the ocean and it runs awesome. It has also been extremely well maintained. The owner does not cut corners. We did some work on it a couple of years ago.

If anyone has any questions about it feel free to call me here at the factory at 786-331-7100 or email me at [email protected]

Yes, automobile trades would be considered.

lowblue320 09-28-2011 05:15 PM

Wow, I just read on another forum that the beast was for sale. This is a real nice boat with history. Like I said on the other board, I would love to see this bad boy back to the way when it raced...... BTW I went for a ride in the ocean with this bad boy and I was impressed...

chewiekw 09-28-2011 06:55 PM

What race was that video from?

Key West Worlds 1985(?)

chewiekw 09-28-2011 07:13 PM

That yellow warpath did not race in key west worlds in 1985. They raced the banner boat in 85.

chewiekw 09-28-2011 07:22 PM

I am going to go look through searace and see if it says anything.

MikeyFIN 09-28-2011 07:27 PM

You're right. 85 was the Banner boat in use but was it what year they switched boats with Seahawk?

chewiekw 09-28-2011 07:48 PM

That was in 86 that they switched with Seahawk in Miami. Ben did race a yellow boat in key west that year but it was the yellow boat with that apache head no name.

This is the same boat on the video?
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o42035-en.html

How and when did they extend the cockpit? It is a great looking boat. I am just wondering.

TURBO JET 02-20-2012 08:45 PM

I noticed in the video that Warpath had the exhaust coming out above the rub rail
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxUUGv3IcMk

and the Apache in the add has it below the rub rail
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...35&f=42035.jpg

The yellow boat in this video has it below
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlyg3TN5hVM

I didn't look at the videos but I am sure they are #2 and #3 because #4 is the banner boat which is now Warpaint.....I believe the Warpath is #2 the one that is for sale!!!!!

sean stinson 02-22-2012 01:50 PM

Ok I went and looked at them the one in the ad is the yellow Warpath but the exhaudt has been changed and the one with Keith Hazell throttling was the boat he ran in Europe

TURBO JET 02-22-2012 02:09 PM

Ok confirmed, The vin say's #2 also but wanted to make sure.
Did Yellow Warpath win any races? What race history does it have and when did it retire from racing.

The boat in the 3rd video is the yellow Indian head boat not yellow warpath, the boat in vid 3 and star-chaser had a very similar Indian head paint job. also on some of the later ones that had exhaust below the rub rail the transom angle had been changed. if you look at the early ones there is an overhang on the transom because the deck was too long ;)

Like I said Rob the one with the indian head on the side was called "The Rabbit" and they ran it in Europe and then brought it back to the states when they ran it in Key West

There were three head dress yellow boats

Warpath
Starchaser
The Rabbit (no name)

yep, the warpath one actually had warpath painted on the sides, i knew there was a nickname for the one (rabbit) but couldnt recall it. It and starchaser were very similar.

I thought that the early models had the flat transom and that the overhang was a result of the changed angle
