Warparty

Whats the story on Warparty? just noticed the repaired hull was sold through the OSO classifieds.

http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o42096-en.html

Would be great to see it brought back to its original condition that was always one of my favorite paint jobs.

As far as I know it went to Lake Tahoe according to the seller

Is there another Warparty? I was at Offshore Performance last week and Bobby had a 41 in the back with a cover on it.

That's the 41 WarParty....the one Glass Dave is talking about is the 47 WarParty

Two high dollar pleasure Apache Powerboats. Built for the same owner I believe. Extraordinary detail!

Yes, that was Hammerhead during its restoration project. It has since been completed by Bob Saccenti and I've attached some pictures of it in the water last weekend in Key West.

Helicopter running shots soon to come, stay tuned!

Original warparty 41

I'm sure I one will see this post but my late father James barnett owned the 41' and the 47' apaches warparty. The original 41' was called the steeler when we bought it and it was taken to Pasadena tx and torn down and rebuilt to what you see today. I've heard a lot of talk that when the 47' burnt that it caused my dad to have a heart attack this is not true he lived for several years after the fire, I have tons of build pics of both boats if anyone wants any just let me know, when we received the hill from mark McManus it was brought to peatland tx and the work began, there was so many custom parts that were built for this boat, my father was a perfectionist as you can see in all the custom touches that were done to this boat. I'm not for sure who has the boat now but I do know I have tons of parts that were not used that still are packed away on pallets.

thats really cool.

The 47 is in Lake Tahoe and will be completely re-built by Dave Traitel. He also owns sacred ground, kid Apache, lucky strike and little ceassars. Your dads old boat is in excellent hands. Dave's work is impeccable and museum quality.
