Anyone know this 36?
isnt that Rogers old one from ohio? or his screen name started with an R
Looks similar to the Arizona Ice Tea 36'. I will look at an old Hot Boat mag. with the Arizona 36' and double check. The dash panels, cockpit interior and cabin interior have all been redone at some point. She looks pretty good from the pictures.
Yes that is the arizona ice tea boat, i saw it in person at the miami boat show years ago, iooks good and priced right.
I have seen this Apache in Tampa Bay a couple of times around the Sunshine Skyway and in the ICW. It is one sharp looking head turner of a Powerboat.
I found my old Hot Boat from March '97 and confirmed it is the Arizona boat. It originally had HP500s, and ran 73.8 MPH on radar according to the test article. Price as tested back then was $255k. It looks like there may be some TLC needed (throttle/shifter mount etc.). It should run respectable with the 525 EFI's.

Nice ride! Seems like a pretty solid buy.
Looks like a great boat, and priced to sell.
It states in the write up 1-525, does that mean one motor is out ? or is it written wrong ? |

Yes I saw that, but there is two other places it states there is 1-525.
And I was just wondering, because it seems like such an attractive price. |
Wow, nice price!
That looks like the deal of the year!!!
Top Speed
Any idea on the top speed of a 36' apache with 525sc's like this boat?
Wow that's a deal. Would love to have it.
tomswift; In a good chop she should hit 75-76 MPH with the 525 EFI's.
Wait do we know exactly what the 525's are in there? SC's? Efi? Carbed? Just curious because if they are the efi's then that makes the boat 10x more attractive then it already is.

The pictures on yachtworld.com show 525 EFI's.

My guess is 525 Sc's and I say it is a 72-73mph boat.
Would need 600-650's go get into the mid 70's. |

So if you watch the video you can see that they actually are 525ef's. Just noticed the video. I'd still say 72-73 on the speed but with the newer power it sure makes this thing look like quite the deal. I couldn't tell if they switched to xr's when they repowered. Still haven 't gotten a response from the Email I sent the broker. |
I still feel this boat would run 75 MPH in good water with 525 EFI's (which have a reputation of being closer to 540 HP). Accoridng to Hot Boat, it originally ran 73.8 MPH with 500 HP's. I used to own a 1994 36' with 575 KE's and Bravos, and it ran 77-78 MPH. But the bottom line is, this is an Apache. No one should be buying it for top speed. Someone needs to buy it and let us all know what speed it runs!! LOL

Talked to them to day. It's got bravo 1s:eekdrop: and one is broke.

A pair of B-max's would take care of that problem.
