Isn't that the one that Doug bought as a derigged hull and rigged with most all the parts from his 35 mistress?
Not sure who the present owner is...

how is this thing worth 150k when for 175 you could have hammerhead or better yet a saber 41 thats 17 years newer with sixes and modern merc power? thing i dont understand....

That is the Legend of the Apache!

I thought the same thing with "The Chief" 41 Apache coming back on the market 35K higher than the last time it was listed earlier this year with no changes.

Someone had put a pic out here somewhere of "Hammerhead" with just the nose sticking out of the saltwater with two people sunbathing on it.(enough said) The "Chief" boat I talk to that guy and he told me he had the bottom redone fixing all the scratches and had the dock rub taken out of the sides and had that repainted, but he also said that is just an asking price only. I stopped last week when I was in Ohio and looked at the Saber(Clifford), it is a very nice boat the cockpit is not for everyone but a very nice boat none the less. I think your right there is no way this boat is worth a 150k. It might be a good restore at a much cheaper price.

Update on "Hammerhead" it is out on EBay as a no reserve auction starting at 120k.

ok, whats so bad about a boat being partially sunk for a day? if its completely redone how does the water affect the fiberglass?

What does the cockpit look like, was it originally a three man or a full cockpit? He dropped the price 25k also.
