Thanks, makes sense now after looking at the dash in each of these pics. Only 41 race to my knowledge with port steering.

Now that I look at those pics I am impressed with the extended fairing on Straight Arrow. Just a great idea, simple, effective and astheticly pleasing. I don't think Addicted had the long dash. I like the way it turned out is all.

You're correct. Brian bought the boat from Joe Rupert in 2002 and raced SBI with it for a few years. He won the P-2 Championship in 2003. The boat is fast and handles rough water very well. It was caught on radar by David Woods at 119 and some change at the Washington, NC race in 2004. That was running on 114 race gas with the engines dialed up.

The boat is set up so that the steering can be swapped. Stbd side for racing and port side for poker runs.

Brian and I are pulling the engines to put in his next boat. He's looking to pick up a Skater or MTI. He loves this boat, but has raced SST-60, SST-120, SST-140 and Formula One tunnel boats for years. He wants to move to something that packs air.

Looks like it. I think we established HONCHO was last seen out in California and has a unique cockpit layout. Is the one above for sale on the west coast?

kidapache 02-12-2014 09:21 PM

I thought it was the honcho boat

Nykamp 02-13-2014 02:45 AM

That one came from Georgia, Honcho has # 6's on it and the last place I saw it there was a picture of it at a shop in AZ .

RogerThat99 02-13-2014 08:43 AM

I don't know if this one was a race boat or not, but the owner told me this was the last 41 to come out of the mold. This was at Lake Havasu.

I have some other pictures of this boat, I will try to find them and post them.

Nykamp 02-13-2014 07:30 PM

That's a pleasure 1991 I believe with a short stagger came from Cali years ago, used to have a white hull with a blue Indian head with block style feathers. Differently not the last 41 that would be the 1995 41 now called Ghost Runner.

kidapache 02-13-2014 09:06 PM

it was this one then

Nykamp 02-14-2014 02:59 PM

Nope, all white with a Indian head a little like Tonto. That looks a Europe 41 full stagger with 6's. The one where talking about had 3's or 3A's.

88bullet 02-14-2014 03:25 PM
