Staggered or Side by Side?

Big shaft #3's for drives? A lot of variables and the fact that the weights of the pleasure versions were all over the board. I'd guess a few mph slower than what Chiro said probably more like 70-72mph. A pleasure 41' could weigh 13,000lbs or better.

side by side engines. # 3's. would be a poker run / pleasure boat

thanks guys

how come in the 41 brochure they said with twin merc 575's and #3 drives boat will do 70mph
667 hp perside should get better than that then for sure
or was the brochure just to sell the boat? lol

kcsteve124 01-26-2013 07:43 PM

I remember the old magazine ads for Apache, they said"575s with speedmasters 75mph gauranteed" and I will assume that was saltwater speeds.

speicher lane 01-26-2013 07:47 PM

The first ads read 75 mph but I thought they were changed shortly thereafter - in another Apache thread someone posted the brochures and 70mph was published....
