28' Apache with single I/O ?

How much does a 28' Apache weight with a single I/O? Also how fast with a single Merc 525?

Thanks

Just guessing based on my 33 @ 9000lbs a 28 might be around 7000 lbs

I think it would depend on the year/layup, my old 91' twin BBC boat weighed 7400 Lbs dry. A single will be approx 1500 lbs lighter just in drivetrain....

Was that a non cored boat like an Apache? Newer 33s and even 35 ish cored boats weigh 1500 to 2000 lbs less than mine

Eric and Bobby built my 2003 28' with a single 525 EFI. It ran about 69-70 on GPS. We weighed it a Lake X, and I believe it was around 5800 lbs. There was only one other single engine 28' built, and that was Eric's race boat. I remember another 28' twin that was converted to a single, maybe "Bad Medicine"?

Bad Medicine

I have come across the classified ad for "bad medicine". Is it originally a twin engine boat that was converted to single as you stated? And do you know any other issues with that particular boat?
