Was Mario Andrettis boat wasn't it?

Not sure, someone said it was the old Gucci boat? Could not find anything on that boat on the web. Sold anyway. So still looking for one

Have you looked at the Hammerhead or the all white one (old Warparth II)?

I am looking to keep below 80K. That's why I was so interested in the one that sold in Sarasota, looks like it was totally redone for that type of money. Very specific buyer for old wave crushers/gas guzzlers like Apache's. I am originally from Chicago, and was amazed how these boats could crush BIG Lake Michigan waves back in the day. Just my personal opinion, I don't think they are worth the type of money some people are asking for them. I would go into something totally different for $150,000 with a lot newer technology.

They are worth what someone will pay for it their is no boat on here that rides like one i had all kinds of boats and the 41 race apache is the best boat made for the rough water. ya it takes big power to move it over 100mph but if you cant afford to play with big power then dont even look at a apache i have three now so listen to what im saying.two are for sale not must sell

Hemi 12-11-2013 09:35 PM

I totally agree with you, nothing rides like a 41 in big water, but when I'm looking to purchase any big ticket item, whatever it might be, I look for an individual that must sell. If anything is priced right it will sell within a very short period of time. Just because I can afford to spend it, doesn't mean I am willing to spend it.

most guys that have these boats dont want to sell them .most of the time they are selling them becouse they cant aford to keep running them or they are done boating or they cant drive them alone . good motors are $70,000 headers $18,000 drives $10 each to rebiuld them gimbles $8,000 to do them props u need two pair at all times u see were this is going thats y they are priced were they are i have one that i had for 8 years and would sell it for the right price

I've owned enough boats over the years, believe I know the costs involved in boating. Definitely not a poor man's hobby. I remember the days when I was *****ing because I was paying a $1.75 for gas on the water. LOL Still worth every penny!!

There's a deal out there for everyone.. All depends what you're willing to offer and they're willing to accept. If you have the cash ready to go, the worst people can say is no...
