Those molds for sale look to have the very early first deck design for the 22 Apache. Think early 80's challenger / superboat.

Like this one:

I believe the Scout has been through 4 different deck designs over the span the hull has been built.

There was the first design, I think ran through 1985...
Then there was the 86-87 deck...
In 88-89 I believe they went with that euro looking deck/hull design...
Then 1990- to the current deck design that Defender Powerboats has.

Check them out here: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/a...-pictures.html

If I'm wrong please correct me...

Don't know what kind of boat this is but I know it's not a 21' Scout.

WOW... I haven't seen that boat in years... That boat was for sale up here in NY a few years back. If my memory serves me correct it was a one-off boat that had a challenger/superboat type running surface, I believe it was built by someone in the industry from FL that was well known and builds quality boats, his name escapes me at the moment. There was a whole thread on that boat on screamandfly back in the day. Absolutely not an Apache!

Don't know what kind of boat this is but I know it's not a 21' Scout.

This is my all time fav boat. Here is the info about the black boat. Sold a few years ago after being listed for a very long time.

90 Ingle Marine Nitro Custom Hi Performance 21 ft Speed Boat

2002 Mercury 225HP EFI Outboard

Hi Quality, Custom Made, One of kind performance boat built by racer Andrew Ingle

New pictures at: http://photobucket.com/Ingle_Nitro

Stainless steel custom ski pole, rails, heavy duty flip down cleats & hardware.
Anodized Bobs Machine hydraulic jack plate controlled by foot controls.
Twin: batteries, bilge pumps, steering cables, kill switches
Hot foot throttle, twin trim switches on MOMO steering wheel
Very solidly built hull. Divinycell and AME 4000 resin hull. Very sleek timeless design.

Storage cover, Owens Aluminum tandem trailer - it floats ez load at almost any ramp!

2 SS polished props. Runs in low 60s
I am using the same props as when I used run a 200HP, and have just not had time to tweak or try other props. I'm sure you can squeak out some more MPH if you want with the extra 25HP of this newer motor.
(Mazco RE prop for poker runs)

Boat & motor 505 hrs

Good on small or large lakes. Handles rough water nicely, nice rock solid hull.
This is a solid hull, so if a Hydrostream pulls up with the same power, he'll win, but turn the corner into some rough water, and you'll leave him on shore.
All depends on what you like to do. I've taken this boat everywhere and it is a great versatile boat.
Ready for speed, skiing, poker runs or just flat out fun boating.
The rear seat flips over and creates a nice platform, so you can even fish too!

2nd owner since 1992. Hard to let go, but it was time for a larger boat, so need to sell one.

More pictures coming, Just came out of storage and I am detailing and prepping for the season this weekend.

This is a one of kind boat that will be appreciated by those that appreciate high quality that you rarely see in a boat this size.

For the perfectionists:
Though all materials are high quality, some rips/cracks in the rear deck upholstery and one seat. Rear deck would be an inexpensive upholstery job. The top half was built with a custom paint job. There is some paint that could be redone, but it looks great still. Much easier to clean and wax vs. gelcoat.
Paint is an extremely deep dark blue metallic, that appears nearly black. The fleek and color come out in the sun

$12,900. Please, serious inquiries only.

Sorry to revive this thread from the dead;

I'm the current owner of this boat. Stumbled across this thread while doing some research. I purchased it from the 2nd owner back in 2012. The design was based on a George Linder Challenger. If you guys are interested I can try to answer any questions you might have. The previous owner passed along a ton of documentation and information, I still keep his contact information. I've checked in with him from time to time.
