I will say that the 41 Apache has the "old school offshore look" nailed......The only other boat that has the instantly recognizable silhouette would be the Top Gun and that is because they were so popular both in step/nonstep versions. |

Where is the video of the Apache running in huge water and pulling away from the cats. The announcer comments on this is where the vee's have an advantage. (I'm pretty sure it was an Apache) I'm trying to show a friend how the big vee's handle big water better.

That's it! Thanks much. I'll never get tired of watching the Apaches tame big seas but Lucky Strike pulling away from all the cats is the best. :)

In an odd twist last week my son and I found ourselves at the Apache Powerboat shop in Ft Myers. We met Mark McManus and once he found out that we had real interests in performance boats, he showed us around. In the shop was this:

I know I have posted this video before, yes it's older. The 47 is an Ocean Racer, check out the balance and ride of Negative Reaction, the way it carries the bow, it wants more.......get on top and GO!
