Was curious if Apache ever made a CC? I was looking for an offshore boat a number of years ago and there was one rumored to be in my area, St Petersburg FL. Was wondering if that was a factory deal or did someone chop a Brave up to make it. Any info on this specific boat or others would be great.

I saw a Apache 28 center console in Wisconsin. All white. From what I heard not many made.

Double C 04-25-2015 09:58 AM

I looked at the 28 CC that was for sale in Wisconsin a few years ago. The boat was technically a Cherokee Powerboat that was made at Apache with the Brave mold.

Think most had inboards thing about 5 where made great boat.

davlan88 04-25-2015 09:22 PM

Wow! Awesome vid!!! Would love to have one with twin inboards. I love my Concept but if I could snag a Sport CC with twin inboards, that would be pretty cool. There's a Sport CC with twin inboards that runs in upper Tampa Bay every now and then, can not remember the name of the builder though for the life of me. He blew by me in my old boat one day at about 70+. Pretty cool to see and hear. To me, that's the best of both worlds for my boating....guess that'll be my next ride if so can find one.

davlan88 04-25-2015 10:47 PM

Powerplay....that's the Performance CC with onboard outboard in my area. Only see it every now and then. Slick boat. Would love to have one.

I've seen it gassing up at treasure island yacht club. Pier 57 had one for sale last year.

davlan88 04-26-2015 04:14 PM

I saw that white/yellow Apache when looking the other day. Neat boat.

I will have to check Pier 57. I see the PowerPlay CC I/O fueling at Tampa Harbour Marina every now and then. Just fell in love with it, I drool every time I see it and hear it light up.

that's my friends boat. he's not on here much nor is he in the active forums. he's going through the boat right now, fresh motors going back in with new fuel injection set up (600 hp). drive's, tabs, transom ass. off for paint. "my prozac is gone off the hull sides. it will be a nice boat when he is done and also for sale.

Dd24skater 04-27-2015 05:15 AM

There was a white and teal cc i/o with #3's on lake erie in the 90's.....think it was a 36

salty dog 04-27-2015 06:49 AM

I remember the My Prozac boat was in FT. Lauderdale looked pretty good back then rumor was it was built for Jack Kramer they went to sea trial thru government cut in Miami and almost stuffed it and he did not want the boat. should have bought it back then price was right.

Never seen it around.

Sounds pretty cool though. I know there is a guy with a Scarab 302 with inboards around here that he can't seem to give away. Listed on C.L tampa

Cig92 is right, the 33 restoration is almost complete. New interior (prior to purchase), 496 MPEFI stroker engines (forged crank, hbeam rods, billet pistons, crane golds, etc). Cooler bellhousings with 13 plate coolers, trannys all redone with good parts, rebuilt TRS drives, stainless marine exhaust with dry pipes to tail and turn downs to below water level. Engines controlled by twin 10" tablets on dash with digital readout and analog gauges. Will post pics soon.

Wow. I wonder what kind of work it needs.

davlan88 05-10-2015 12:23 AM

I just found it the other day after checking in on this post. 34ft Scarab original CC I/O. I contacted the owner and he apparently has a deposit on it now. Looked like a decent project, only thing is it had 383s, bigger motors would have made it more appealing. Cool rig for sure though. And cheap, I would've snagged it if I found it a while ago.

Not a lot to go wrong at part out price. Only hang up I'd have is how long it pumped raw water through iron engines.

salty dog 11-05-2015 07:11 PM

any pics of the center console completed?

PARASAIL941 11-05-2015 07:54 PM

Damn that thing is stripped. I was looking up hard tops and leaning posts recently, you could be into that thing for more than a boat like mine by the time you put trips a top, console and leaning post in it. But it's an Apache!

salty dog 11-17-2015 07:18 PM

how fast would it run with trip 300 verados?

Less than 70

SkaterMike82 11-18-2015 08:42 AM

I believe that's a 33. I'm not sure if Apache made 36 CC. They probably put 36 because they're including the bracket like everyone is no days. Here's a 33 completed. I believe it resides in NJ.

another. Note how similar they look to one Miami boat manufacture. Not mentioning any names but the ones that know know.

The orange and white one are not the same boat. I took those pics of the orange one back around 2010-2012. Actually cool to see them reposted... ;) at that time the orange boat was located in Ohio. I don't recall who did the work but I am pretty sure it wasn't mark...
