Default 41 Apache Props

So built up 588 Apache motors where 830 HP and 900 lbs torque now 930 hp and 1000 lbs torque have #6 drives, Mercury 4 blades 17 x 27 on now should i go to larger prop and if so what is suggested size.

What was the rpm range of the old engines vs new? Might go up 1”

old ones had old Fireball ignition now MSDS boxes with 6000 rpm limiter but dyno peaked out at around 5500

More power at a higher rpm, likely to use the same props.

yea i should have been clear at same rpm 5200 90 more HP and 120 lbs more torque
new motors rev to 5500 or so before start to drop a bit

Just to prove to myself , that I cannot afford a boat with #6 drives................ How much is a pair of off the shelf Merc #6 props ???????????

There's a set of Hering Titanium props in the classifieds 1 of 3 sets in the world known to exist, wonder what the cost..............
