Jenny's Express
Does anyone have any info on this boat, what model it was, what year and who owned it? Just looking for some history on it, I remember it but vaguely...
Thanks! -Mark- |

Thanks! -Mark- I manufactured the Apache 41 in 1987 as a race/pleasure boat. It was originally named "Jenny’s Express" with yellow and blue graphics. The boat was built of Kevlar with staggered C&G 850 HP engines on 18" center, #3 outdrives, race hatches, 6 fuel tanks and 6-man cockpit. The boat was presented in January 1988 at the New York boat show. It is my understanding that the boat has undergone several modifications by different boat repair shops. I do not know the current condition or mechanical set-up of the boat as of today nor any additional data on ownership. Mark McManus Apache Powerboats |

That is one of the boats that got me hooked on these things when I was a kid. I would ride my bike to the marina at Harbor Island in Ocean City to look at it on almost a daily basis. Jenny's Express was the only Apache there, but it was kept company by a few Cigarettes. The names Silverado and Dollar Bill come to mind. I always told my friends that I would own a boat like that one day and only one of them, Wild Bill (Purnell), believed me. He was hooked too and our other friends thought we were crazy. Now here we are a lot of years later, all grown up and both of us have not only been fortunate enough to own them, but we raced them as well. Together. Thank you Jenny's Express for giving me the dream! I can't tell you how awesome it would be to see her come home to Ocean City.

Wardance
Wardance is back home in PA and ready for sale. Manufactured in 87 and appeared at the NY boat show in 1988. She has been redone 3 times (Jenny's Express, White with Indian head, and now Wardance). She has had three owners. The boat is not currently running but does have new engines to go with her. If interested please send me a message. Best offer.
